I can’t believe that we only have 5 more school days left! We still have lots of work to do. For example, the students are currently working on their journal writing and using proper punctuation (question marks, periods, exclamation points, capitals, apostrophes, commas etc.) and writing a reflection which highlights all of the fun things we did in Grade 1. The students are also working on mastering addition and subtraction. We are looking forward to our freezie party on Friday – the class was the first group of students to return all of their library books! As a result, they have been awarded a freezie party by our school librarian, Mme Poirier.
Please note that Term 2 report cards will be coming home on Wednesday, June 29th.
Please let me know if your child will be taking an early vacation. The last day of school is Thursday, June 30th. We will be having a small celebration in the afternoon on the last day. You are welcome to send in a nut free treat with your child to share with the class.
Thank you!
